Orange Pediatric Care, P.C. is based in New Windsor, New York. Dr. Paul Latonero, MD, FAAP, started Orange Pediatric Care back around 1976 and has been serving Orange County and surrounding communities since then. Dr. Maria Bernardez bought the practice in 2010 and has carried on the tradition of Orange Pediatric Care, caring for children and families with quality and compassion. We have families who have been with us for several generations. That is, we now see the children of the children that Dr. L initially saw!
We are proud to serve families and children from Beacon, Fishkill, Cold Spring, Wappingers, Glenham, and surrounding areas.
We are a "large, small practice." By that, we mean that we have a large and loyal following of families who have been with us for a long time. We consider them family. We have also grown and are happy to meet new families and welcome them to our practice. At the same time, we are small enough to give every family personalized and compassionate care, the attention they deserve.
We love meeting families who are new to the area or are having their first child.
Dr. Maria Bernardez brings a friendly, youthful vitality to "her kids" and has a delightful bedside manner. Her training and experience include child psychology and behavioral health issues. She is always willing to explain the pros and cons of any procedure or medication and to take the time to answer any questions you may have.
