After completing his pediatric nephrology fellowship, Dr. Weiss remained at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he was medical director of pediatric dialysis and kidney transplantation.  He also was the Principal Investigator of the International Study of Reflux in Children, an NIH- supported multi-center clinical trial.

Dr. Weiss was board certified in Pediatrics in 1976 and board certified in Pediatric Nephrology in 1979.  He has been selected regularly as one of the NY Metro area’s “Best Doctors” since 1996.

Since 2008 he has led Boston Children’s Health Physicians’s move to electronic health records and is now the Chief Medical Information Officer of the organization.
