Emily Rivera Brown, DO, FAAP is a Board Certified Pediatrician and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Academy of Osteopathic Pediatricians.

Dr. Brown grew up in the town of Wallkill (Scotchtown) and was a graduate of Pine Bush High School.

She obtained her undergraduate degree from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. In 1999, she attained her lifelong dream, earning her medical degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York.

After serving as an intern, resident and Chief Pediatric Resident at Good Samaritan and Winthrop Hospitals in Long Island, New York, Dr. Brown returned to her hometown.

In 2002 she accepted employment as a Pediatrician at Orange Pediatric Associates, PC, which brought her full circle, as Dr. Brown had been a patient of the practice as a child. Dr. Brown is a member of the Orange County Medical Society, and served as Vice Chairperson of the Department of Pediatrics at Orange Regional Medical Center.

Dr. Brown is a mother of four, who lives with her husband and children in the town of Hamptonburgh. Her spare time is spent being an active mother, who volunteers time to her children’s activities. She also enjoys volunteering at her children’s schools, including the Little Red Nursey School, in the town of Wallkill, and Taft Elemetary in New York’s Washingtonville Central School District.
