About Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Consultants
Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Consultants strives to offer comprehensive, compassionate gastrointestinal (GI) care using the most sophisticated and cutting-edge diagnostic and therapeutic technologies.
In addition to standard GI procedures, such as upper endoscopy and colonoscopy, we also offer many other services that are not widely available elsewhere. These include complex biliary and pancreatic endoscopy, diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic ultrasound, enteral stent placement, complex dilations, endoscopic mucosal resection, advanced polypectomy, endoscopic suturing and radiofrequency ablation of Barrett’s esophagus.
The Westchester Center for Gastrointesinal Motility provides high-resolution esophageal and anorectal manometry studies as well as esophageal impedance and pH studies for evaluating patients with refractory reflux symptoms. The division serves as the medical arm of the Westchester Medical Center Liver Transplantation Program and has been at the forefront of investigational trials for hepatitis C and other liver conditions. Finally, we offer expertise in inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s and ulcerative colitis.
