Yong Sing da Silva, MD is a lifelong New Yorker. He grew up in the East Village of Manhattan, attended Stuyvesant High School, and then New York University for undergraduate studies. He then moved to Washington, DC for his medical education at the Georgetown University School of Medicine. After graduation he completed a residency in General Pediatrics at the New York University Medical Center, and then completed his subspecialty training in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His extra-clinical interests include early recognition of critical illness and quality improvement.
