Nitin Gupta, M.D., F.A.A.P, is a board certified general pediatrician who recently North Rockland Pediatrics in May 2016. After earning a bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences, Physiology and Metabolism from the University of California at Berkeley, he graduated from St. George’s University School of Medicine (where he and Dr. Troy were classmates!) Dr. Gupta completed his residency in pediatrics at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey-New Jersey Medical School. He also trained at Weill Cornell Medical College in Pediatric Gastroenterolgy and Nutrition.

Dr. Gupta’s adventurous career spans from working in the inner cities of New York and New Jersey to the far reaches of rural Maine. Before joining North Rockland Pediatrics, he worked in the Emergency Department at the Brooklyn Hospital Center and in Urgent Care at PM Pediatrics. He enjoys teaching, writing, and even filmed a pilot episode for a medical talk show!

Originally from California, Dr Gupta and his wife are recent transplants to Westchester County where they enjoy taking advantage of the great outdoors. In his free time, Dr. Gupta can be found hiking the trails of Rockland and Westchester county with his son and dog Dobbie, or paddle-boarding on the Hudson River.
