Karen Chiu MD was born in New York City. She attended medical school at State University of New York at Brooklyn and residency at Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Chiu is Board Certified in pediatrics.
For more than 15 years, she was dedicated to serving families in Chinatown, the Lower East Side and the Bronx. She became proficient in speaking Spanish and Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese), and as a child of immigrants, solidified her commitment to her patients as developing individuals (both mentally and physically) in culturally and socioeconomically diverse population. She has particular interest and satisfaction in helping those under her care to maintain health in both body and mind. Dr. Chiu enjoys meditation, yoga, and walks along the scenic Hudson River.
Dr. Chiu is enthusiastic about joining a fine group of providers who are devoted to guiding and supporting the families in the Westchester community.
