Barbara Beyer, M.D., F.A.A.P. grew up in a small Massachusetts town on a Black Angus cattle farm. She graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in biology, then worked for two years in a cell biology research lab at the Rockefeller University in New York City. She graduated from George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., and completed her pediatric training at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Beyer lives in the Warwick school district with her husband and three children, including twins. She loves all aspects of pediatrics, especially watching children and their families grow and change. She is also a passionate Boston Red Sox fan.
