Bio:
Andrew Mutnick, M.D. is a General Pediatrician and Associate Dean of Student Affairs at NY Medical College School of Medicine, from where he graduated in 2001. After achieving his MD degree, he went on to complete Pediatric Residency and Chief Residency at Columbia University/Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital of New York-Presbyterian, and joined the faculty of the University’s College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2005. For eleven years he held the role of Director of Pediatric Medical Student Education and in addition to leading the Pediatric Clerkship and Subinternship, he was a core faculty advisor for the hospital’s pediatric residency program as well as leading Resident-as-Teacher programs across the departmental and institutional landscape. From 2014-16, Dr. Mutnick served as Medical Director of the Newborn Nursery at the Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Mutnick was chosen as Teacher of the Year by the College of Physicians and Surgeons, class of 2007 and was elected as Fellow of the Virginia Apgar Teaching Academy in 2009. He is a graduate of the Educational Scholars Program of the Academic Pediatric Association and served on the Executive Committee of the Council on Medical Student Education in Pediatrics from 2013-16.
